The Near Death Experience

In 1992 a Gallup poll concluded that approximately 5% of adult Americans had had a Near Death Experience, or NDE. An NDE is the sensation of an Out Of Body experience as perceived by a person who has nearly died. The odds are fairly great that any one of us could have a Near Death Experience during our lifetime.

Until recent years there were very few people who had had Near Death Experiences and returned from the "Other Side" to tell about it. If you had a heart attack and died you probably would not be successfully revived. If you died on an operating table, chances were you stayed that way - dead. Death used to be a much more final condition.

Because of modern medical technology there are now increasing numbers of people who are returning from this state that used to be almost irreversable. Perceptive care givers, physicians and aware members of the scientific community are all questioning what the Near Death Experience, or NDE, really is. They also have many questions about why the NDE survivor is often changed dramatically.

To our knowledge, the theory that a Near Death is an astrological New Birth has never been seriously considered. The Near Death/New Birth hypothesis is the consequence of our personal experience and studies over many years. Continuing investigative study is the primary objective of our research group.
